The training objectives of Mimin include:
- strengthening higher education in Benin through improving the curricula to match the needs of the society
- improving teaching practices and teaching content related to hygiene
- strengthening the capacities of health professionals in hospital hygiene
We have created two new training programs :
-a 6-month training program “Hygiene in Maternal and Neonatal Care” for midwives, nurses, doctors and other healthcare professionals already in employment in Benin. The first time the program was carried out for 100 professionals 7.7. – 28.12.2024 (see the detailed program in French below and follow the progress of the training under the tab News & Events)
– a 1-week module applying the Internationalization at Home e-learning approach to provide joint training for midwifery and nursing students in Benin and Finland was carried out 10.2. – 9.3.2025 using Moodle and Zoom platforms.
